Quarter-Turn Commercial Gear Operators
For
the past several years DynaTorque depended on an imported source of
supply for gears in the 200,000 and 300,000 inch pound range. Several
issues made this unsatisfactory. Shipping large heavy operators half
way around the world made little sense from a cost or lead time
perspective. It also made it difficult to react to changing customer
quantity requirements.
Just over two
years ago, DynaTorque began a project to design, test, and manufacture
products in these ranges using domestic castings and both local and
in-house machining resources. We are now ready to take orders for the
DT220 and DT300 in limited quantities for shipment in the 8 to 10 week
range.
