D-Stop Partial Stroke Testing Devices DynaTorque’s D-Stop is a device used in automated quarter-turn valve applications where compliance to standards such as ISA-S84.01 and IEC61508 is desired. To maximize revenue you want to keep your plant running 24/7 for as long as you can, and you want to do it safely. To do it safely you need to periodically test your automated Emergency Shutdown Valves. (ESD valves) The D-Stop allows you to do that periodic testing without shutting down the process/revenue flow. Additionally the D-Stop can be used in those applications where the build up of process media over a period of time can render the valve inoperable. Once again, with the D-Stop installed, the valve can be exercise periodically to make sure that, on demand, the valve will operate.

D-Lock Automated Valve Lockout The D-Lock is used in automated quarter-turn valve applications where periodic maintenance must be performed requiring the pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuator to be mechanically locked out. (Lockout/Tagout). The D-Lock can be ordered to provide that function in either the full closed or full open positions.
