DynaTorque’s GPI (Geared Position Indicator) and GPI-S (Geared Position Indicator Sealed) can be used to indicate the position relative to open or closed of buried service valves, dampers, payoff reels or any other rotating device. Standard turn ranges are available for 1-938. Requirements for greater numbers of turns are available upon request. Each position indicator comes complete with valve box adapter and is ready to install in a standard 5 ¼" valve box.
Non-Sealed position indicators are for use in general applications where the environment surrounding this device is relatively free from dirt and/or corrosive substances. Components are constructed of corrosion resistant materials and gearing is exposed. Suggested additional options would include: 2" square nut and custom extension stems.
Sealed position indicators are for use in applications where the environment surrounding this device is more hostile in nature. Acidic ground water or soil, high saline content, or exceptionally dirty areas, just to name a few. Suggested additional options would include: 2" square nut, straight coupling, and custom extension stems.
