 Worm Geared Operators- Fire Protection

 

Definition

DynaTorque’s FPS series operators are suited for fire protection water supply service where maximum valve torque ratings have been accurately calculated. Operators are supplied with 2 sets of SPDT internal supervisory switches for use in indoor or outdoor installations. Valve shaft, mounting interface, wiring harness, pin connections are customized to match your specific requirements. Top access opening allows for direct valve stem mounted flag indicator. Standard ½" NPT conduit opening supplied for switch wiring access.

Note:

DynaTorque’s FPS series operators are currently being used by several valve manufacturers in the Fire Protection industry for use in water supply applications. UL and FM certification requirements may dictate that the operator and valve assembly be tested as a package. Certification to the UL or FM specifications is typically within the scope of the valve manufacturer’s responsibility.
