Chainwheels

Definition DynaTorque chainwheels are offered for applications where valve and operator combinations are in locations where direct handwheel operation is not possible. DynaTorque chainwheels are a combination of high quality brand named purchased chainwheels and DynaTorque’s unique chainwheel adapter. The adapter provides for mounting the chainwheel directly to the operator-input shaft rather than the rim of a handwheel as is traditionally done. This design reduces the amount of cantilever load on the operator-input shaft.
Construction Standard chainwheel construction is cast iron with many optional materials available. Chainwheel adapter is fabricated of 1018 steel.
Warranty Note: Please consult individual product family sheets for operator compatibility for chainwheel applications. DynaTorque does not recommend the assembly of chainwheels to handwheel rims. DynaTorque recommends the use, but is not responsible for, chainwheel tethers in all chainwheel applications.
